George Clooney and Julia Roberts back together on the big screen
Daniel(George Clooney) and Georgia(Julia Roberts) were once lovers but parted angrily and bitterly. After many years, they meet again at their daughter Lily's graduation. And that is not a success. Then when Lily vacations in Bali, word comes that she has fallen madly in love with a young man there and would like to marry this Gede. Once again they have to go to their daughter together. But now they make an (armed) alliance to keep their daughter from making the same mistakes they once made. Thus unfolds a romantic comedy about relationships and second chances, which can turn out to be surprising.
An old-fashioned big-budget RomCom for a nice 1.5-hour break from the daily grind. The comedic skill of and fine chemistry between Clooney and Roberts are the big pluses.
