Hans Dorrestijn 's latest programme will be, for a change, a cosy mix of small and big disasters: decay, the loss of friends and colleagues, digital alienation, rising temperatures and human excess. He holds the dog and the Pope jointly responsible for overpopulation.

He reveals that the insect population has collapsed, but that indoors the fly swatter continues to prove its worth. He throws the flies and mosquitoes that have been swatted to death out of the window. That way, the swallows get some use out of it too.
