Those who don't read....
Effective reading education. That is the central theme of the event Wie niet leest..., which will take place on Monday, May 22, 2023, at the Nationaal Onderwijsmuseum in Dordrecht. The event is a Dutch-Flemish co-production of VOS/ABB and OVSG. The program consists of a lecture by children's book author Jan Terlouw and inspiring
sessions in which science, educational practice and partners in education will have their say.
It is of utmost importance that children learn to read well. Not only for their school career, but also for their social functioning.
It is therefore logical that reading and effective reading education are high on the agenda in the Netherlands and Flanders.
During the event Who doesn't read... science, educational practice and school partners will speak. You will attend a lecture by Jan Terlouw and one content session of your choice. You will also participate in an interactive and surprising activity, which of course has everything to do with reading and education.
