For the older generation, The House of Petrol is a trip down memory lane. Brand names and items that evoke memories, such as: Shell's pyramid-shaped oil jugs and Mobil Oil's pegasus, the Dutch brand De Automaat and Esso's famous "Put a tiger in your tank". But also the visitor who does not know this world will have a very pleasant experience.
The museum shows very well how the marketing and branding of oil companies came about and how they marketed themselves. The old packaging of oil cans, advertisements and billboards, the evolution of logos of the different companies show a beautiful picture of the time. And there is much to learn about the origins and innovation of petrol pumps. Wander around and enjoy the good old days!
