A bouquet of flowers is nice, but picking your own bouquet is even more fun. On the outskirts of Dordrecht lies Pluktuin Dordrecht, a colorful sea of flowers where you can put together your own bouquet from among hundreds of wildflowers.
In early August, Weizigtpark will be the setting for Pasar Malam Istimewa. For five days, Indonesian, Javanese, and Moluccan cultures will come together in a colorful event filled with music, delicious food, and a bustling market.
"Scents and Colors" is the subtitle of the event held in the most beautiful spot in Dordrecht. The aromas from the restaurants and the expressive colors of the artists blend together against the backdrop of the Drierivierenpunt to create an inviting atmosphere.
This summer, the Kloostertuin will once again be transformed into a charming open-air movie theater. De Witt Cinema will present eight carefully selected films, ranging from audience favorites and musicals to a special preview of a new movie.
The Papendrecht Bridge will be closed until mid-April 2027. It’s unfortunate but necessary, and during rush hour, there may be extra traffic on the detour routes.
