A packed Grote Kerk. Community singing and two master organists. An evening where sound and meaning come together. God willing, on September 5, this music will resonate not only for the ear, but for a forgotten group of people: the 650,000 Dutch citizens living with brain injuries. During this benefit concert in Dordrecht’s historic Grote Kerk, Pieter Heykoop and André Knevel will perform a unique program of improvisations and communal singing.
In addition to our own improvisations, we will also perform a number of improvisations by the master Klaas Jan Mulder. Admission is free, ensuring that the concert remains accessible to everyone. All proceeds from the collection will go to the Brain Injury Patient Association.
