De Witt presents a diverse lineup of films on four Friday and Saturday evenings in August under the stars in the charming Kloostertuin. Relax and enjoy the big screen from your own garden chair or blanket, or rent a beach chair with your movie ticket. There’s a bar in the garden serving drinks and snacks. And to round out your summer evening, you can enjoy a delicious meal beforehand on the terrace of the Stadsbrasserie.
Tickets cost €9.75 or €13.50, including a drink of your choice. Various discount cards, including the Dordtpas, are accepted. You can rent a beach chair (for €5). You can also dine beforehand with a Film Compleet ticket.
Tonight: *The Umbrellas of Cherbourg*
This summer’s classic film is a colorful musical from 1964. Catherine Deneuve made her breakthrough as Geneviève, a young umbrella saleswoman who finds herself caught between two men.
