Synopsis
Heer Voldemort krijgt zowel de toverwereld als de Dreuzelwereld steeds meer in zijn greep en Zweinstein is niet meer het veilige toevluchtsoord van vroeger. Harry vermoedt dat zelfs in het kasteel gevaar dreigt, maar Perkamentus heeft daar weinig aandacht voor; hij vindt het belangrijker om Harry voor te bereiden op de eindstrijd die steeds dichterbij komt. Ze werken samen aan een manier om de verdediging van Voldemort te doorbreken. Hiervoor neemt Perkamentus zijn oude vriend en collega Hildebrand Slakhoorn in dienst, die mogelijk cruciale informatie achterhoudt. Aan de vooravond van de beslissende strijd maken Harry, Ron, Hermelien en hun klasgenoten kennis met de wereld van de romantiek. Er hangt liefde in de lucht, maar de vijand ligt op de loer. Zal Zweinstein ooit nog hetzelfde zijn?
