On Tuesday 13 August it will be a great spectacle on and around the Energieplein: Dordrecht will then be the starting point for the 2nd stage of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift!
Come do what you normally don't have the chance to do: spot the cyclists and their entourage up close. At 09.50 it's all going to happen, a first in Dordrecht.
Ahead of the start of the 2nd stage of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift, the Dordtse Fiets Feesten will be held on Sunday, August 11, to warm up for the start of this stage. The Grotekerksplein is then transformed into a cozy French square where you can taste and hear the atmosphere of France.
From August 9 to 11, come to Otto Dicke Square and help draw a 336 m2 painting. The mega artwork will be created in a visible spot along the trail so it will undoubtedly be beautifully displayed. So unleash the artist in you and draw with us. You are welcome on Aug. 9 from 16h00 to 20h00 and on Aug. 10 and 11 from 12h00 and 16h00.
The sun is shining and you want something different from a city walk? Then rent a sup, water bike or Schiller water bike (kind of exercise bike) and sail around the center of Dordrecht. This summer, from July 27 to September 1, there will be a temporary rental point of the Boardacademy on the Vest (next to La Venezia).
Boat owners or boat lovers beware: Dordrecht has new moorings for small boats and sloops. This allows you to see multiple sides of Dordrecht by boat! You sail from location to location and moor easily (for up to three hours) with your own or rented boat or sloop.
This summer, the Biesboschcentrum Dordrecht will be even easier to reach by public transport with the beverBuzz. The beaverBuzz is free and departs every hour from platform B (801) at Dordrecht Central Station. This year, NP De Biesbosch is celebrating its 30th anniversary and there are fun activities for children.
