This year, the Dordtse Boekenmarkt is celebrating its 25th anniversary. A ribbon of almost 500 book stalls winds through the city. For all visitors, there is not only a choice of books, but also a musical and literary programme and cosy terraces.

The museum has recently been completely renewed and you will be challenged to look at the past and present to get a better understanding of what freedom means to you.

Court Festival

Dordrecht is celebrating this year. A cultural festival for young and old is being organised around Hof van Nederland to commemorate 450 years of the First Free State Assembly. During the festival, everyone from young to old is welcome at the various activities, with special attention to young people and children.
