Dordrecht is easy to reach: you can get there by car, train, bus, bicycle and by water. Dordrecht lies on the A16 motorway between Breda and Rotterdam and is also quickly accessible via the A15. The centre is only a 5-minute walk from the Central Station, which is also where the Merwede Lingelijn of Qbuzz stops. Snelfietsroute F16 runs through Dordrecht and there are several paid and secure bicycle parking facilities in the centre. There are several ferry services and water buses to Dordrecht.
Dordrecht, with its car-free inner city, is an ideal cycling city. Unisex 7-gear bicycles (€12.50 per day, deposit €45) and e-bikes (€26 per day, deposit €65) including accessories such as a bicycle bag can be rented from the VVV. In Dordrecht, there are a lot of antique stores in the historic inner city and many antique treasures can be found. To make finding something even easier, several antique markets are also organized. Like the art, antiques and curiosities market around the Nieuwkerk on the Nieuwkerksplein. There are as many as 40 stalls here and there is a cozy terrace where snacks and drinks are available. There is also live music to enjoy. Next market is on 2 October from 10:00 - 17:00.
From Dordrecht, you can easily reach the Nieuwe Dordtse Biesbosch, a beautiful piece of nature to visit during your city break in the Netherlands. An enchanting piece of nature and the place to be for birdwatchers. The Nieuwe Dordtse Biesbosch is easy to reach by bicycle. The crystal clear waters with an active marine life attract all kinds of birds to this area. As always, the birds will be calmer in the morning and evening and can be admired more closely than during the busy daytime hours. The birds can be captured beautifully and it is a favourite area for walkers and birdwatchers.

The Kunstrondje Dordt is a walk through the historic city centre past the many galleries, art and antique shops, antiquarian bookstores and museums in Dordrecht. There are about 60 shops and institutions, affiliated to the Dordtse Vereniging van Kunst- en Antiekhandelaren, within walking distance of each other in the centre. You will find old and modern art, classic design, antiques, brocante, (antiquarian) books and much more. The route is available at the VVV tourist office. The opening hours of the shops differ, but every first Sunday of the month, they are open exclusively for the Kunstrondje Dordt.
