The Dordrecht Tourist Office has mapped out this cycling route using cycling junction points. You’ll first cycle through Dordrecht’s historic city center and then continue across the island to the Kop van ’t Land ferry. The ferry takes you and your bike to the Brabant section of De Biesbosch National Park. Along the way, you’ll pass the Biesbosch Museum Island and then take the same ferry back to the Island of Dordrecht. During World War II, this area was the site of heavy fighting, and you’ll still come across various casemates and bunkers. Because the bike route uses junction points, you can start the route at any point. Below is an example of how you could cycle the route.
