During the evening and night of Oct. 14, get to know the cultural offerings of Dordrecht. Enjoy a night of dance, theater and music. You can walk effortlessly from one location to another or commute back and forth on the little train.
Do experiments at the Education Museum, experience the seasons at Huis Van Gijn, take an audio tour of the Hof van Nederland or visit DordtLAB at the City Library.
On Thursday, October 19, you and your whole family can experience this beautiful season in the Biesbosch. Gnomes love autumn, which is why they are celebrating an autumn party this day!
Or at least all of Dordrecht! Because even though summer may be over by now, autumn is not inferior when it comes to liveliness in the city. It is a wonderful time of year to go into town for shopping, culture or fine dining.
What could be more fun than strolling around among things of yesteryear? From home accessories to clothing - in Dordrecht, too, there are all kinds of vintage stores where you can pick up your finds. And what about following a vintage shopping route?
In the surroundings of Dordrecht, there is an extensive 325 kilometer bicycle route network. In autumn, you can still make wonderful bike tours in the area.
Through the center you cycle into the polders of the Alblasserwaard. The Waterbus takes you to Alblasserdam and then past the windmills of World Heritage Site Kinderdijk. You also take a tour through National Park the Biesbosch.
For those worried about headwinds, it is autumn after all, no worries. The tourist office rents out electric bicycles. Bring your rain suit and enjoy! Rather rent a regular bicycle or tandem? That's also possible at VVV.
