Plenty to do this summer in Dordrecht. Stroll through the Dordrecht Book Market, come swing during the Big Rivers Festival and the Parkies. Admire art during Kunsthoofd or visit the beautiful Grote Kerk and listen to the tower music. But you can also be active in the Klimbos, on the water or get on your bike.

Dordrecht Book Market with books and vinyl
Stroll past more than 380 stalls in search of a particular book you're still missing from your collection, or score a stack of vacation reading material. With no less than 26 stalls full of LPs and singles, it is also a vinyl Valhalla. Along the way, you'll come across all sorts of catering and music venues. The Book Market takes place on Sunday, July 7, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Organizers ask visitors to come by bicycle or public transportation.
From Friday, July 12 to Sunday, July 14, downtown will once again be transformed into one big music mecca for young and old. Three days long enjoying more than 130 bands and acts - you want to be there. It is one of the largest free events in the Netherlands. On 12 stages you will enjoy musical performances with the beautiful city as a backdrop!
The Wantijpark in Dordrecht is dedicated to music on five Monday evenings . The evening begins with a local warm-up act, followed by a main act and concluded by a DJ. The silent disco also has a place on the grounds. Go wild, during these delightful - and also free - evenings in the park.
The striking Grote Kerk has a rich past. Not only the imposing architecture of the building but also the interior is well worth a visit. In summer, music sounds weekly from the organ and carillon.
Well-known and Dordrecht carillonneurs play the carillon weekly on Thursday evenings. The music can be heard from benches around the church. Or even more fun, climb the church tower and listen to the concert there. Get the program booklet at the church.
Are you a lover of organ music? Then come and listen to the sounds of the Kam or Bach organ in the Grote Kerk. In the summer months on Saturday afternoons there are tourist concerts and on Wednesday evenings various musicians play the organ.

On the three-river Groothoofd this summer, on Sundays between July 21 and August 25, there will again be the art afternoon "Art Head. During this artistic event, while enjoying fine music and a snack and drink, admire the works of high-profile artists. What more could you want?
