Are you looking for excitement and sensation? Sporty or calm? Even then, there are plenty of attractions in Dordrecht where you can live it up. From paintballing to supping in the harbours! Outdoor activities are always good for the body and mind; exercise is good for you anyway, whether you do it outdoors or indoors. You can go on an adventure on your own, with your family and/or friends, of course. These tips will help you stay active!
Dordt Vlogt takes you along on a three-kilometre bike and walk route through the city. Britt passes all kinds of highlights, such as the City Hall and the Grote Kerk. She even climbs the tower of this impressive church. The view is more than worth the climb! The route continues to the Huis van Gijn, the former home of Simon van Gijn (1836-1922).
Britt then cycled on to De Biesbosch National Park, Europe's largest freshwater tidal area. Here you can cycle, walk, canoe, spot beavers and relax. Because Dordrecht is an island, and therefore surrounded by water, you can easily take the Waterbus from the Biesbosch back to the city. Would you like to discover Dordrecht with me?
