The surfing club is for everyone who wants to get involved in the sport of windsurfing. Young and old, beginners and advanced surfers... everybody is welcome! Even if you don't have your own surfing gear, you can join us. For members the use of the club gear is free. If you are not (yet) a member of the club, you can use a day pass of "Windkracht" to come and surf at the spaarbekken. For € 13,- p.p. you have a day pass, surfboard and surf suit!
In and around the clubhouse you will find all the luxury a surfer could wish for. On the ground floor are the toilets and changing rooms. Both the ladies and the men's changing rooms are equipped with hot showers. On the first floor there is a canteen. The canteen is equipped with a cosy bar and you have a great view over the reservoir here. There is also a separate sitting area where you can browse through the most popular surf magazines. Of course, you will also find the kitchen here for hot snacks.
In the summer months, you can enjoy the sun on the terrace by the water. There are also spacious lawns to rig your sails, and you can store your surf kit safely behind lock and key in the plank storage area. Along the water there are jetties and rafts so you can easily get on your board from the shore.
