At Mijn Moment, you can take a Kintsugi workshop that lasts about 2 hours. Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing ceramics using a gold-based adhesive. Here, you’ll not only learn the technique of repairing ceramics, but you’ll also learn more about “wabi-sabi” and the symbolism of Kintsugi.
During the workshop, we’ll provide coffee, tea, or a soft drink of your choice along with a snack, but if you have more time, we can also arrange options such as a catered lunch. What does a Kintsugi Kids’ Party involve?
– Following Kintsugi principles, we’ll repair a ceramic tile using a gold joint
– You can hang the tile up as a little painting
– It takes 1.5 to 2 hours
– Drinks and snacks are included
– You’ll receive beautiful invitation cards to hand out.
A minimum of 5 and a maximum of 12 children. Suitable for children ages 9 and up
