Muziektheater Hollands Diep produces contemporary music theatre, primarily for residents of the Drechtsteden and the surrounding region, with the artistic potential and thematic relevance to reach a national audience as well. Each production includes newly written work or sheds new light on existing work. Performances are not only given in theatres, but also in churches and old factories, on city squares and on ship decks.
