Absurd depiction of human history, a sequence of controversial thoughts and comforting images on the question of what is actually civilized.

Controversial thoughts and comforting images surrounding the question: what is civilization?

'Hard Cut Paradise' is a physical iconoclasm, a sequence of controversial thoughts, comforting images, an absurd depiction of human history in which we question ourselves and the audience about what is actually civilized. More than two thousand years ago, people wrote down stories that we still cling to today. But how civilized are we really? And what do we learn from the civilizations before us?

As one civilization crumbles, another already seems to present itself, and we build something new as quickly as possible without dwelling on the debris of the past. We are preoccupied daily with our future: we try to prevent disasters, emancipate and choose which people to keep the world running. But if we look critically at our history, can we breathe a sigh of relief with the realization that things are much better or have we become completely lost and is our civilization just a thin veneer after all? Collective The Paradise creates a place where space will continuously transform, by those who call themselves the civilized.
