"And we want to stay that way!" say Miranda van den Heuvel and Caroline Roso enthusiastically about their small boutique where, according to the two, "fashion and feel-good come together. "With us you have a nice chat and drink a cup of coffee while shopping. Very personal, we love that." At Two Stories Boutique, a broad target group comes by and that's not surprising, because everyone scores something nice at the clothing store. From basics to trend clothing and everything in between. Jewelry, shoes, sneakers, fragrances and bags can also be found in the store. "It seems like a small store, but we have a lot. Every week we have new items. Also trend items that you see a lot this spring, like the cape trench coat and the ballerina - a real must-have this spring!"

When you step inside toy store Juffrouw Pollewop, you know one thing for sure: this place just makes you happy! It is a real treat to browse around at Juffrouw Pollewop, not least because they respond perfectly to the seasons. You will find durable, wooden toys that take you back in time and practical children's items such as backpacks and lunch boxes, but also toys that are totally contemporary, complemented by a lot of seasonal products. Cool goggles, self-filling Easter baskets, sunglasses and outdoor toys. A walhalla for kids! Owners Mette and Maaike have been running the shop for fifteen years this year and are proud of it. "We see a lot of kids, parents and grandparents in the store and that is very cozy. Many people think of interior store De Inrichterij as "that nice lamp store" and that is quite right, but did you know that they also sell all kinds of other beautiful interior items? The store has beautiful furniture from the Gispen brand, for example. But also quite a bit of vintage - totally contemporary! In addition to nice lighting, De Inrichterij has cabinets, chairs and dining tables. A timeless, quirky collection with quite a few classics: this is what the Dordrecht interior store stands for and has been for 25 years. At the moment you see a lot of color in the store, says Sanne Advocaat. "People are daring again and are going for primary colors in their interiors, such as red and orange. Especially men regularly choose the color orange, funny to see."
Dordrecht delicacies you must taste
People regularly say to Marijn van der Waard of pastry shop Van der Sterre: "So you are the Marijn of the apple marijn" and that is not surprising, because this genuine Dordrecht delicacy can only be found here! It has been a tradition at the family business for many years to name a delicacy after a newborn, and so years ago the apple marijn was introduced: a pastry of puff pastry with puffed almonds on top. You can just hear the crunch when you take and bite! If you do so in the lunchroom, you also get a nice scoop of vanilla ice cream with whipped cream to go with it. But there's more at Van der Sterre. For example, go for a croissant with caramel, Nutella and banana - the dream croissant! - or the well-known and oh so popular Dubai bar. Or: a chocolate bar with pistachio in it. Marijn: "The great thing about a family business is that we can respond quickly to hypes. We make everything ourselves, including the apple marinades. We bake them all day long, so people can fully enjoy them at home and in the lunchroom."
