Environmentally conscious, affordable, fast and an extensive range of fresh large and small dishes. That is what you can expect at the Gyros Boutique: the new trendy hotspot, with (yes!) terrace on the corner of the Voorstraat and the Visbrug. Owner and entrepreneur Saki Sachou knows what he is talking about. For six years he has successfully run restaurant Ammos, fifty metres around the corner. "We were often asked if we could deliver, take away or cater, but we could not do that to keep the quality in the restaurant high. Now the new location makes it possible. I already had the concept: a modern, hip restaurant where young and old can go for an affordable lunch, coffee and cake from Koekela, delicious burgers, salads, various types of gyros and much more, including vegetarian dishes. A lovely place to sit, but where take-away and delivery are also possible. Our fresh dishes are prepared according to traditional methods. How is that done? From the seven-metre long bar, customers look straight into the kitchen. The experienced chefs prepare the meals in plain sight.
