On the west side of town, a short distance from downtown, is the Weeskinderendijk parking lot where you can park for free. This parking lot is ideal when coming from the A16 or the Zwijndrecht bridge. A short distance away on Dokweg you can catch a bus towards the city center or walk to the center in about 15 minutes. With a shared bike or shared scooter you can be in the center in a few minutes.
Gratis parkeren en stadsbus
De eerste 24 uur mag je gratis parkeren op het terrein Weeskinderendijk. Voer wel je kenteken in bij de parkeerautomaat. Na de eerste 24 uur betaal je € 0,40 per uur.
Op zaterdagen rijd je op vertoon van je parkeerticket gratis met de stadsbus naar het centrum. Kijk op 9292.nl voor de dienstregeling van bushalte ‘Weeskinderendijk Beneden’ welke stadsbussen naar het centrum gaan.

On foot to downtown
Downtown is also easy to get to on foot. Walk about 15 minutes to downtown, the route is marked with signs or view the route in google-maps here.
There are also RV sites for a day visit to Dordrecht.
TIP
You can also use Energiehuis parking garage if you don't want to park in the center. From there, line 10 of Qbuzz runs towards the center.
