Weizigt Park will be completely renovated by 2024 with wider walkways, more water and natural banks. Facilities such as benches, lighting and sports equipment have been improved. The many walking paths and benches make the park a good walking park. There is a dog playground and off-leash area, city farm, gardens, climate greenhouse, aquarama and apiary. You will also find a public playground with climbing towers with suspension bridge and slide, seesaw, stretching pole, cable car, swings and sandbox. Further down the park are seven calisthenict equipment.
The park is accessible via multiple entrances: Mauritsweg/Nassauweg, van Baerleplantsoen and rear of Dordrecht train station.
