The many footpaths and benches make the park a good walking park. The alternation of trees, grass and water make the landscape varied. Dogs are allowed to run free in part of the park. There is also a fenced-in play area for dogs. The park is accessible from the rear of Central Station, Nassauweg or Krispijnseweg.
The Weizigt Sustainability Centre in the (former) coach house is located in the park. You can visit the city farm, gardens, climate greenhouse, aquarama and apiary. There is a public playground with climbing towers with a suspension bridge and slide, a seesaw, a horizontal bar, a cableway, swings and a sandpit. Further on in the park there are seven calisthenics.
