Wereldwijven ateliers is a store with a studio at Voorstraat 178 in Dordrecht. This social enterprise employs more than 80 women with roots in all corners of the world - from Iraq, Iran, Morocco and Turkey, to Somalia, Burundi and the Antilles and from the Netherlands.
Besides guidance that is strongly focused on individual development, Wereldwijven stands for craftsmanship and quality. Timeless products are designed with beautiful materials. By using knitting, crochet and embroidery techniques, unique cushions are created in the workshop. The sewing atelier offers designers and companies the opportunity to carry out small-scale sewing projects.
Besides products from their own collection, Wereldwijven studios mainly sell colorful, sustainable textile products such as scarves, bags, tea towels and plaids.
