The Austrian blackened death metal machine Belphegor is coming to Bibelot, bringing along the Brazilian death metal band Krisiun and the Dutch all-female black metal band Asagraum.
Belphegor is a household name among fans of the black and death metal scenes, who just can’t seem to decide which category this brutal, blasphemous machine of a band belongs in. Ultimately, though, it doesn’t matter to these Austrians, because they take the best of both worlds and create an unholy but delightful cacophony of church-insulting brutal blackened death metal.
Krisiun
Krisiun is a death metal band from Brazil, a country from which we hear surprisingly little heavy metal. Formed by three brothers in 1990, this band has been a standard-bearer for South American death metal since its inception, and is definitely worth your time, with their heavy riffs.
Asagraum
Asagraum perfectly embodies the current Dutch black metal scene, full of fire and unholy flames, craving more. These ladies don’t know what a bad album is; their screeching vocals, unique guitar work, and pounding drums truly set this band a cut above the rest.
