Want to learn more about the lives of honeybees, wild bees, and other insects that pollinate flowers? Then stop by the Weizigt Bee House. Beekeeper Theo will be happy to tell you about the amazing lives of these insects. Not only are they extraordinary, but they’re also incredibly important to us and to nature. Without insects, there would be no blooming flowers and no food for other animals. So stop by, listen, ask questions, and take a look!
Program
Today’s topic is “bumblebees.” Bumblebees aren’t built to fly, and yet they can. How is that possible? Theo can tell you all about it! You can also join us again today on a bee safari on the Weizigt grounds.
