On Saturday, October 3, the parking lot at Het Gemaal restaurant will be transformed into a delightful gathering place during the Boerenstreekmarkt.
A market where producers, educational institutions, the hospitality industry, and residents come together to showcase all the wonderful things and delicious treats our region has to offer.
Between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., there’s plenty to taste and buy—from vegetables, wine, and honey to mustard, cheese, tea, and jam.
Students from ROC Da Vinci are teaming up with a professional chef to prepare delicious snacks using local ingredients. Join in the conversation with farmers and producers to learn about all the locally sourced food available on and around the Island of Dordrecht.
The Boerenstreekmarkt is organized by students from ROC Da Vinci, the restaurant Het Gemaal, and the “Food from Dordrecht” working group of Platform Duurzaam Dordrecht. It marks the start of the national “Week of Our Food” in Dordrecht.
Come visit us at Loswalweg 6 in Stadspolders. We especially encourage you to come by bike, or park your car at the shopping center and take a short walk along Vissersdijk to the market.
