A Kintsugi workshop—what does that actually involve? When you sign up for a Kintsugi workshop at Mijn Moment, you’ll spend two hours mindfully repairing an object with gold powder.
On the day of the workshop, you will first be welcomed and given more information about what Kintsugi is. Then the explanation will follow and you will be given materials to get started. If you have something of your own at home that you would like to repair, you can bring it with you. But there are also nice items (vintage plates, dishes), which you can first break and then repair.
In between, you can enjoy some tea or coffee with a treat. After two hours, you’ll have a beautifully repaired item to take home with you. You’ll also receive a DIY kit worth €32.50.
