Louisiana Heat is a new collective that offers the best of the music rooted in New Orleans’ “melting pot.” From the irresistible funk of The Meters and The Neville Brothers, the second line of Dr. John and Earl King, to the uptempo R&B sounds of Robert Parker and Huey “Piano” Smith. All of this is complemented by their own original material.
The musicians have performed with various acts at all the major roots festivals in the Benelux. They have also toured Europe and recorded albums with American blues artists such as Boyd Small, Byther Smith, Roscoe Chenier, Junior Mack, and Nathan James.
