In early August, Weizigtpark will be the setting for Pasar Malam Istimewa. For five days, Indonesian, Javanese, and Moluccan cultures will come together in a colorful event filled with music, delicious food, and a large market. This year’s event will take place at Weizigtpark, which offers more space for additional vendors, food stalls, and seating areas. With two stages, a varied entertainment program, and hundreds of stalls, there’s plenty to enjoy for young and old alike.
From sambal and kroepoek to jewelry, clothing, and wood carvings: everywhere you go, you can taste, see, and experience Indonesia’s rich culture. As the aroma of fresh dishes wafts through the park and live music adds to the atmosphere, a visit to the Pasar Malam feels just like a trip to faraway places—right in the heart of Dordrecht.
