JLK & heART.felt (9:00 p.m.)
Since 2024, JLK has been building a fresh soul movement in Rotterdam with his live band, _heART.felt. With falsetto-driven vocals and influences from D’Angelo and Prince, the band blends (neo)soul, funk, R&B, and electronica into a warm, rhythmic live set. Following shows at venues such as North Sea Round Town and through the RoffAvant platform, a sound is emerging that touches and moves audiences.
Kidd Nebula & The Voodoo-Funk Conspiracy (10:30 p.m.)
Although he sounds and looks like a young Jamiroquai, this energetic Space Cowboy is truly a product of the Netherlands. Inspired by the greatest of the greats—such as Prince, Funkadelic/Parliament, Jamiroquai, and James Brown—Kidd Nebula combines alternative jazz with psychedelic funk and hip-hop into a danceable, introspective, cosmic journey. With his six-piece band, this bold space traveler gets everyone’s hips moving as he takes you on an adventure through his otherworldly mind.
This year, The Kiddz released their new EP, *BAD CHI*, and immediately embarked on their first European tour, with multiple shows in cities including Prague, Zagreb, and Budapest. This promising act has already made a name for itself as the opening act for artists such as Primaat and international acts like Boukou Groove (USA), High Fade (SCO), and Prince’s bassist Ida Nielsen.
