The stained-glass windows of the Grote Kerk in Dordrecht are in need of maintenance and restoration.
To support this project, the Music Working Group, the Friends of the Grote Kerk Association, and the Dordrecht Orchestra Association are joining forces.
On September 12 at 8:00 p.m., they are organizing a benefit concert featuring, among other pieces, the organ concerto by Francis Poulenc (1899–1963); a unique opportunity to hear this work performed live!
They will also perform several movements from Beethoven’s Pastoral Symphony. The concert will be presented by the Orchest-Vereeniging Dordrecht and city organist Cor Ardesch.
Before the concert, the brass ensemble will perform from the tower.
