RolleBollen is a free skating event taking place on August 12, 19, and 26 from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. On those evenings, Weizigtpark will briefly become the domain of roller skaters, skateboarders, and inline skaters.
The renovated Weizigtpark looks radiant. New entrances, new greenery and last but not least: beautiful smooth roads and paths that crisscross the entire park. Ideal for everything on wheels!
Starting at 5 p.m., music will be playing, disco balls will start spinning in the trees and the park will become more and more lively. Skaters, rollerbladers, children on rollerblades, young and old, all visitors come together to enjoy a beautiful evening and to be active. During the event the park will be (partly) accessible exclusively for skaters. The atmosphere will be further enhanced by atmospheric lighting and music. In addition, food trucks will be present to provide visitors with food and drinks.
There are alsofree roller skatesyou can borrow if you don't have your own to skate around the park.
