Young Sean Webster’s life changed dramatically when a friend introduced him to the music of the blues greats. The three Kings—Albert, B.B., and Freddy—as well as Robert Cray, Buddy Guy, Gary Moore, and the main reason Sean started playing guitar: the legendary Eric Clapton. Sean’s passion for the guitar and his dedication to music have continued to grow ever since, turning into an almost feverish obsession. That hunger for music has led to six studio albums and taken Webster on tour across America and Europe, where he has performed at many of the leading venues and festivals in the blues-rock scene.
Webster’s instantly recognizable voice, combined with his heartfelt, melodic guitar playing, has become the hallmark of all his album releases. Both Webster’s blues-influenced guitar riffs and his soulful, lived-in vocals are always delivered with passion in tightly arranged songs.
Music News had the following to say about Webster’s talents:
“I’ve never heard anyone with a voice like Sean Webster’s; it’s a miracle he isn’t hailed as a blues superstar.”
