De Badslippers, in collaboration with NextUp, are organizing the follow-up to their successful Slipperfest festival!
Muzzle
MⒶULKORB is the newest hardcore punk band from Groningen. Their lyrics range from serious topics to downing a crate of De Klok at room temperature. Their music goes in all directions—just like you will in the mosh pit at their show at Slipperfest in Dordrecht!
Yellow
Geel isn’t just any punk band—it’s an experience. The shredding guitar riffs are only part of the show. With Geel, you’re swept up in emotional stories about the bisexual man in the spruce tree and Robertus the crab in formaldehyde, but you can also let loose to “Moshterdsoep” and “Pigsqueel.” Combine this with flying ladles and pig noises, and you’ve got the best fever dream of your life. Because let’s face it, how often have you seen a band named after a color?
Those Ripe Bananas
What began as a musical guerrilla campaign against the status quo has grown into one of the Netherlands’ best-known punk bands: Die Nakse Bananen. Loved, hated, adored, threatened, dissed, appreciated, noticed, and ignored: Die Nakse Bananen has seen it all, lived through it all, and experienced it all. They’re fans of everyone from the Dead Kennedys to the Exploited and from the Sex Pistols to André Hazes—quite a mix, indeed! Wherever Die Nakse Bananen show up, something happens—and usually moms and dads aren’t too happy about it!
Lick the Frog
Harsh techno, noise, and total frog chaos. Armed with effects pedals, drum machines, samplers, and an arsenal of homemade noise-makers, Lik de Kikker drags you into an hour of unfiltered party frog noise. Don’t expect a normal show, but rather a collective “WTF” experience full of space weapons, fly swatters, blacklight madness, and frogs running wild among the audience. The laws of nature are temporarily suspended. Ribbit.
Bicycle Tire
The Amsterdam-based band Fietsband brings a fresh take on ska into your life. With up-tempo ska rhythms, playful synthesizers, and catchy lyrics, they put on an energetic and danceable show that will have you on your feet.
Skatonomists
An Amsterdam garage ska-punk band. With their provocative, revolutionary ska, they call for an end to conformity and apathy—let’s smash capitalist spectacle society!
