Get creative this fall break
Did you know that drawing well actually starts with observing carefully? During this fun drawing tour, you’ll join a museum docent to discover how artists view the world. You’ll take on creative drawing challenges in various museum galleries. You don’t have to be a good drawer at all—it’s all about exploring, observing, and having fun.
This activity is specifically for children ages 6 through 12. Each child must be accompanied by one adult. One adult is required per child. Both the child and the adult must have a ticket for the activity.
The facilitator doesn’t just observe—they actively participate in the activities. During various parts of the program, the child and facilitator draw together, compare what they see, and sometimes even work on a single collaborative drawing. This makes it a true family activity where you discover art together.
At the end of the drawing tour, you’ll receive a museum drawing guide to take home, so you can continue drawing and observing like an artist even after your visit to the museum.
