Even before the first series of *Het Experiment* has been fully completed, Wende announces the sequel. This fall, she’ll return to pop venues with *Het Experiment #2*: new music, a work in progress, live on stage.
In an age when everything seems to be visible only once it’s perfect, Wende consciously chooses to share her creative process. For her, the unfinished is not an intermediate stage, but an essential part of creation. Doubt, change, and experimentation are the driving forces behind her work. During this second series, she continues her quest toward a new pop album, which is expected to be released in early 2027. The songs are nearly written, but they only truly take shape in a live setting. On stage, she discovers what works, what feels off, and what should stay.
Every night is different. Expect new material, existing repertoire in surprising guises, and a show that unfolds as it goes. Nothing is set in stone—this is music in motion.
About Wende
Wende rose to fame in 2003 and has since built an impressive body of work that includes seven albums and a wide range of theater and music productions. She has won multiple Edison Awards, was nominated for a Golden Calf, and toured internationally with her show *The Promise*. With her pop album *Sterrenlopen* (2023), she reached a wide audience: the album debuted at #2 on the charts and features collaborations with artists such as Froukje and S10. That same year, she performed at Lowlands and once again proved how effortlessly she switches between pop venues and the theater.
