Library AanZet - City Library

For 125 years for everyone On May 1, 1899, the Public Reading Room and Library of Dordrecht opened. As the first public library in the Netherlands, the library is dedicated to the spiritual development and relaxation of the adult population, regardless of gender, status, political beliefs or religion. The library welcomes daily all adults, member or non-member. Its bylaws emphasize neutrality toward religious and political views. Now 125 years later, Library AanZet is a place where everyone is welcome. Where you can be yourself. Together with others. Whether you want to read, learn or meet or are looking for inspiration or answers; it's all allowed.

The library is an (online) place where people can develop. So that everyone can #participate in our rapidly changing society. Including you. That's why you can also come to the AanZet Library to practice Dutch or learn how to apply for a DigiD. Because when everyone can participate, our cities, villages and neighborhoods benefit. The library for everyone, development for everyone. For more information visit www.bibliotheekaanzet.nl
