All products are made with respect for people and the environment. Because the producers—such as silversmiths, potters, and coffee farmers—receive a fair price for their work, they can build a life of dignity. Fair Trade food products are also sold.
At the Wereldwinkel, commerce and ideals go hand in hand. The Wereldwinkel sells authentic products from developing countries with a contemporary twist. The artisans include, for example, coffee farmers from Guatemala, woodcarvers from Tunisia, and Vietnamese potters. Some run their own small businesses, while others work in small factories.
