To the center
The center is easiest to reach by bicycle or public transportation. From the central station, walk to the center in 5 minutes or take line 10 from the adjacent bus station. The historic center of Dordrecht is largely closed to car traffic, where pedestrians have all the space they need. Parking is therefore not possible in the car-free area.
QBuzz' s Merwede Lingelijn and NS trains stop at Dordrecht Central Station. QBuzz's bus station is next to Central Station where all city and regional buses depart. Plan your trip easily with 9292.
Across the water
Dordrecht is located on an island and is surrounded by water, making it accessible by various ferry services. The Waterbus sails between Dordrecht, the Drecht cities, Rotterdam and the Biesbosch. Bicycles can be taken on board free of charge. The Waterbus to Zwijndrecht departs from the Hooikade and all other lines from the Merwekade. You can pay by OV-chipcard, e-ticket or cash. From Brabant, the island of Dordrecht can be reached by ferry De Biesbosch. With your own boat, you are welcome in one of the marinas.
