Dordtje Pop presents an evening filled with local music, featuring three acts from Dordrecht, each showcasing their own unique sound. From the Dutch-language songs of Klinkt Goed, to the dreamy indie-folk of Mensenkinderen, to the energetic pop-rock of See Sharp: this evening highlights just how much musical talent Dordrecht has to offer. A home game for both the artists and the audience—and also the release show for Klinkt Goed’s new album!
KLINKT GOED
KLINKT GOED is a Dutch-language indie pop-rock band led by singer, musician, and songwriter Ralf Mastwijk. Their music spans indie pop, alternative rock, new
wave, and cabaret: direct, melodic, and band-driven, with choruses that stick in your head and lyrics that resonate. Following *Mijn Rotterdam* and *Genoeg*, KLINKT GOED is working toward their third album, *HET SPOOR*, set for release on January 29, 2027. On this album, the focus shifts from personal chaos to something bigger: keeping up, staying relevant, and staying afloat in a time that never stands still. The songs deal with time pressure, screen light, social unrest, inequality of opportunity, climate change, relationships, silence, regret, and the longing to truly live again. Not heavy-handed, but delivered with energy, humor, relatability, and a serious undercurrent.
Mensenkinderen
Mensenkinderen seeks out the wonder and beauty in everyday life with an irresistible urge to celebrate life. Imperfections aren’t glossed over, because the beautiful things often seem to happen right on the fringes. Mensenkinderen’s compelling melodies and delicate arrangements echo the dreaminess of The Innocence Mission, the layered complexity of Sufjan Stevens, and the nostalgic, homespun charm of Loney Dear.
See Sharp
See Sharp is a young, five-piece band with one mission: to show the world that music doesn’t fit into boxes, but should be allowed to continue evolving. The band members share a striking musical chemistry that’s impossible to miss. Their musical style is firmly rooted in pop-rock, but they aren’t afraid to incorporate soul influences, which makes their sound unique and multi-layered.
