Would you like to join us in looking for butterflies and dragonflies in the Louisa and Cannemanspolders?
The Louisa and Cannemanspolders are located between the “de Elzen” forest and the Sterrenburg neighborhood. This beautiful nature and recreation area is characterized by vast, flower-filled grasslands dotted with islands of native trees and shrubs. The area serves as the perfect link between the Biesbosch and the city of Dordrecht.
Butterflies and dragonflies find plenty of food and shelter in the Louisa and Cannemans polders. We’re hoping for warm, sunny weather so we can spot lots of these beautiful, unique creatures. But even if the weather isn’t ideal, there’s more than enough natural beauty to discover.
