What could be more Dutch than a Kopstoot—the combination of a beer and a jenever? It’s been around since the 1940s, but now it’s ready for a more sophisticated revival.
In this workshop, delicious craft beers are paired with premium jenever; it’s not about drinking a lot, but about enjoying the flavors. You’ll be welcomed in the Tasting Room on the 1stst floor. A Rutte host or hostess will take you on a journey through Rutte’s history. He or she will explain everything about the distillation and extraction processes. Be surprised by the exquisite distillates that Rutte still produces in-house. After a tour past stills and barrels, you’ll taste various genevers and specialty beers and learn why theypairso welltogether.
