The Big Draw is a free drawing festival for all ages. Every year between September and October, this drawing festival is celebrated in many major cities around the world, with a focus on illustration. The entire city is challenged to draw, actively participate, and learn in a playful way. It’s happening in Dordrecht on September 12 and 13!
The Big Draw Netherlands, originally based in Nijmegen, is returning to Dordrecht once again this year and is offering a diverse program filled with drawing sessions, demonstrations, workshops, exhibitions, and activities in the city center and beyond. The Big Draw promotes interaction with art and imagination, and it actively connects people with art.
The program caters to all skill levels. Both amateurs and professionals can nurture their curiosity and interest here. The Big Draw brings everyone together: different cultures, professionals and enthusiasts, insiders and outsiders, young and old. The program is organized in collaboration with cultural institutions, schools, businesses, healthcare facilities, stores, and restaurants.
