Voltage

warm vocals, gritty guitars, and a solid groove

Sometimes it feels like everything is happening at once. Doubt and conviction. Calm and restlessness. Hope and frustration. And that’s exactly where Voltage’s new music comes in.
On May 8, the band released not one, but two singles at the same time. No gimmick, no doubt… just two real stories that together show what Voltage stands for.
Two sides of the same coin. Two sounds, one signature.
This isn’t a new chapter. It’s a years-long struggle about what it feels like to keep choosing music—even when it’s rough.
The concept of two distinctly different sides is part of the new album, which is expected to be released in the spring of 2027.

Silver Lining
For anyone who’s ever asked themselves: Is this still worth it? There are moments when you stop and wonder if you should keep going. Whether the passion you felt years ago is still there. Whether the path you’ve chosen is still leading you somewhere. “Silver Lining” comes from exactly that feeling. It’s a track about keeping going, despite the doubts. About continuing to write, continue to create, and continue to play—not because it’s easy, but because you simply can’t help yourself. Sometimes it feels unfair; sometimes it feels like you’re doing it all just for yourself. But time and again, there’s that little bit of sparkle: the people around you who stick by you, who believe in you, who keep you standing tall. “Often a lot of friction, but always a little sparkle somewhere.”
Musically, “Silver Lining” has a warm, melodic late ’70s/’80s feel: familiar, open, and timeless. No grand words, no imposed life lessons—just an honest look at perseverance and trust. Sailing your own course, in your own way, together with the people who feel the same way.

Sky Of Innocence
For everyone who’s done with waiting. Where Silver Lining leaves room to breathe, Sky Of Innocence goes full steam ahead. This is Voltage without brakes. Raw, energetic, and uncompromising. The track feels like breaking free—from expectations, from opinions, from the idea that you need permission to create. “Sky Of Innocence” is a statement about freedom: not naive, but conscious. Choosing that place where something new can emerge, precisely because you refuse to let yourself be limited. Here you hear the rock ’n’ roll band that Voltage also is. The lyrics are sharper, the urgency palpable. Frustration, fire, and conviction resonate in every note. This isn’t reflection. This is action.

Two stories, one band
With this double release, Voltage shows that opposites don’t exclude each other, but rather reinforce one another.
Hope and unrest. Calm and explosion. Reflection and rebellion.
