Merz is located in an authentic warehouse from 1640 on an old working harbour on the edge of Dordrecht city centre. It is an accessible establishment where young and old meet; a restaurant with a surprising menu, a café with a stage for the best activities and a 150m2 large hall for (business) events. In the weekend there are also regular club nights after 23.00 hours. Eating, drinking, dancing, working; it's all possible at Merz in Dordrecht. A birthday party, anniversary celebration or reception is one of the possibilities. Since recently there is also the possibility to get married in the room on the first floor! This has a typical industrial look and feel to it, while retaining the authentic features of the old building.
Vergaderlocatie
Geschikt voor een groepje collega’s of een grote groep tot ca. 200 personen. In overleg kunt u ook een andere zaal huren, zoals het café-, restaurant- en podiumgedeelte bij ons in Dordrecht. De capaciteit van de gehele locatie is maximaal 500 personen. Alle benodigde faciliteiten zijn hier aanwezig, zodat uw zakelijke bijeenkomst vlekkeloos verloopt.
Monument ’t Suyckervat
Dit karakteristieke gebouw aan de historische havens van Dordrecht heette oorspronkelijk ‘t Suyckervat. Het pakhuis was -zoals de naam al doet vermoeden- in haar beginjaren een suikerfabriek. De architectuur bevestigt dat door de vijf hoge verdiepingen. Ongeveer 40 jaar geleden kreeg het gebouw een horeca functie, met op de begane grond een café/restaurant. Op de eerste etage bevindt zich een grote zaal die zich uitstekend leent voor besloten partijen. De oorspronkelijke balkconstructie is in het hele gebouw nog terug te vinden. Ook de smalle wenteltrappen maken het herkenbaar als oud havenpand.
