City Brewery Dordrecht
Stadsbrouwerij Dordrecht is a small, craft brewery where local craftsmanship takes center stage. In the historic building, volunteers and students brew the Dordtse Schapenkopje beers. Every Saturday at 3:00 p.m., you can sign up for a guided tour with a tasting, giving you a glimpse into the brewing process and letting you sample the flavors of Dordrecht right away.
Come taste it at the Rutte Distillery
Rutte feels like a little piece of Dordrecht’s history that’s still very much alive. Jenever, gin, and liqueurs have been made on Vriesestraat using the same traditional methods since 1872. The scent of herbs and botanicals greets you as you enter, and you’ll find all these traditional flavors in the store.
In addition to the store, there’s plenty to experience there, from a guided tour of the historic distillery to tastings where you can discover different beverages, and workshops for those who want to try their hand at making their own.

Wijndomein Biesbosch is a young family-run winery in Dordrecht where sustainable Dutch wines are crafted with great care and by hand. On the Dordrecht sea clay, they tend to their grapes by hand, and you can really taste that in their wines. Their offerings include a crisp white wine, a light rosé, and a smooth red blend. They also organize volunteer days at the vineyard, allowing you to truly become part of the estate. It’s a place where you’ll go home with a bottle of wine that perfectly captures the story of the estate.
