In the beautifully restored Kunstkerk (1885), with its iconic facade designed by Studio Job, the creation and innovation of art take center stage. Since its opening, various exhibitions by contemporary Dutch and local artists have been open to the public free of charge. We celebrate the craftsmanship of artists, performers, and scientists, and present art as a process of development, not merely as a final product. With a program of accompanying events—including festivals, lectures, concerts, and performances—we encourage connection, engagement, and deeper understanding, actively involving the public and the local community.
