Tineke Adeney will be exhibiting her work at Galerie Nieuwstraat in Dordrecht in July and August. The exhibition is titled “Touched by Light.”
At the heart of the exhibition are the tranquility and beauty that Tineke Adeney finds in nature. To capture these, she wanders through forests and across fields, though the beach, the sea, and water are also sources of inspiration for her. Her photographs are not precise depictions of landscapes and nature, but rather abstract representations. Some photos will remind you of a beautiful walk you’ve taken yourself. Others may simply transport you to a tranquil atmosphere.
The lighting conditions and use of color are key to the atmosphere in the photos. Hence the title of the exhibition, “Touched by Light.” When Tineke is out and about with her camera, she feels a desire to share with others the beauty and tranquility she experiences. This is certainly a good reason to visit her exhibition.
