Mike (Frank Dillane), a homeless drug addict, is trying to get his life back on track after a stint in prison. He had robbed the very person who wanted to help him. He finds a job, a place to stay, and even a tentative new relationship. Mike longs for peace and stability, but on the streets of London, a slip-up is always just around the corner. Hopeful yet self-destructive, Mike not only comes up against his own limits but also against a system that lets him down time and time again.
The film had its world premiere at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, where Frank Dillane made his breakthrough by winning the Best Actor award and director Harris Dickinson was honored with the prestigious FIPRESCI Prize.
